CARMEN LOISAIDA, a play by Eva Cristina Vásquez, based on the novella CARMEN by Prosper Merimee. Directed by Beatriz Córdoba.

Using the Lower East Side as a playground, CARMEN LOISAIDA, directed by Beatriz Córdoba presents a powerful story of Latino documented and undocumented immigrants trying to survive in a world where human solidarity becomes the only way to salvage their dreams and aspirations.
